The mysterious fire

Tonight is called in Hungary the 'Night of Saint Ivan'. This is the shortest night of the year. So much myth connect to this. In East-France people roll down a fire wheel from the hill to get protection against demons. In my home if you are jumping through the midsummer fire three times with your darling you will be together forever and become one very soon.

This day was for the children. Timi and me spent the whole day with our cousins. It is always very interesting, you have to be child and adult in the same time. Today we shared the roles. Timi was the adult and I was the little child. I like this so much to listen them and try to see the world with their own eyes. You can be again who you were unless you forget it.

After one month hard working, today my sister got her certificate of final exams. She is an adult now, but she will be always my little sister. I am so proud of You, Timi! Keep it up!

Today I borrowed some books and cassettes from the library. By now I have everything to begin learning French. I know I have to make an effort to be good. I already began to practice the pronounciation, and I will continue with the grammar. My plan is to finish with the first two books till september. Let it be a pledge!

Long way to get home

After four month,yesterday morning I left Prague. It was so hard. At first sight this period seemed to be very long. I couldn't imagine how I can live in a foreign country. But I got so much help from a very nice Friend! Merci Beaucoup! ^__^
So yesterday I left at 7.30 by train. Maybe I shouldn't have done it!
I almost already arrived to Hungary when our engine didn't want to go away. (it took 30 min to change it) When finally I arrived to Budapest at 15.00, there was no more ticket, only at 18.00. (Friday!) I spent these hours in the Mc Donald's with a very nice girl from Nyíregyháza. I thought 2,5 hours and I will be at home. I was not so lucky, the train again stopped for 50 min. At 21:30 I could see my family instead of 17:30. Nice!
How nice could be a flight sometimes!

Alphonse Mucha was a very famous artist of Art Nouveau in the early XX. century. He was born in Moravia, but later he went to Paris and became a popular designer. In Paris you can see his Jewellery shop which was completely designed by him. You can find some of his works in the Mucha Museum Prague. Have a good time!
