Le Paprika

There is a nice restaurant in Paris where the Parisian can taste all of traditional meals from Hungary. Le Paprika brings us to the '40's Hungary into the 'happy peaceful ages' (called this period by Hungarians). Old gipsy band are playing romantic songs while you are tasting the sausages with cheese and drinking 'Egri Bikavér'. Of course the original Gulash soup with beef and the Stuffed cabbage are also on the menu.

I found this picture from this age. Jávor Pál (one of the most famous actor between the Wars) with the gipsies who are playing his favourite song. ('Jaj, de szép kék szeme van Magának. . ')

Cheap flights

You don't need to check all of air companies if you want a flight to the European Union. Just go directly to the Skyscanner to find the cheapest one. In the end of summer season there are low costs flights to Nice for €100, and to Rôme for €85!
Merci, Julien to show me this useful website! ^_^

The cake

Do You remember of the cake from Prague?

The Hungarian name of it : Kürtős kalács. It means 'cake with tunnel'. It has a very soft taste. You have to bake it on a special stick and after roll in sugar, nut or coco. So fine! The original came from Erdely (Romania) and now it is the most popular-meal on the Staroměstská!

Good Appetite!

Working in the garden

These days are very hot in Hungary. The temperature is around 38C°. It is better if you spend your time on the beach or anywhere with lots of water. This afternoon I chose our garden. I had to work but I wanted to try my new camera also.

French Kiss

Kate et Luc

One of my favourite film is the French Kiss. Meg Ryan and Kevin Kline are very good in it! Meg is an 'ex-American Canadian' teacher who wants to get back her boyfriend. But Charlie's heart is stolen by a French woman. So she has to come to Paris to find him and beg. But if you want somebody too much you will loose him. Everybody knows it, but if you love somebody you can forget it very easy. Charlie was afraid of the pressure of their future common life so he left. The end is so happy and romantic. Kate finds her Luc in Paris. So everything is OK! ^__^

14th July

'La tour Eiffel'

Yesterday The Institut Français de Budapest set up the celebration of 14th July. There was a great party along the Bem-quay,with stilted dancers and the Beaubourg who were responsible for the fun and the chansons. The view was so wonderful when the lights from the Parliament were swimming on the river. Unfortunately you have to wait a little bit for my pictures.

Sok Boldog Születésnapot, Julien!

At dawn I had a nice dream. We were doing the dishes in our kitchen. ^__^ It was so good. You understood when I talked to you in Hungarian, but you could not answer only English. If only it would be the reality!

Happy Birthday, Julien!

What did Materazzi say?

Last night I was waiting for the French Victory unfortunately I have to wait more 4 years. During the World Cup the French team became better and better. They had a very strong 'team-game' with a professional leader. Nobody knows what happened yesterday, Niké forgot them. Henry left before the end and Zidane got a red card. It was so said to see him left and to guess that maybe it was his last game. The committee made a good decision, for his whole work he got the Golden Ball! Congratulations!

Since a long time I did not post on my blog. Last days I was very busy. Tomorrow I have an exam. (horticulture). I am not sure I am ready. It was not easy to do the same as before Prague.
Julien, I was happy when finally I 'read' about you and Antho on your blog. You know, I am waiting for the English version. Antho, enjoy your holidays in Paris! Take care of you!

Franciaország ünnepel

Last night France won against Portugal! In the finale they will meet with Italy on Sunday. I found some pictures about the celebration to present the French party-style.

Paris celebrated in the Champs-Élysées

'Góóóóóóóóóól!'

'Vive La France!'

Wow Portugal!

The little Portugese guys won against England. I would not believe it! Maybe the final result was because of Ricardo but the whole game of them was very nice. I am not really keen on football but they are very sympathetic for me.

Just some minutes and begin the France-Brasil game! I think it will be also an exciting one! Go ahead France! ^_^
